“Quality Bear Hunt”

“I have been on bear hunts all over the states and Canada. Bear Crush Outfitters offers a client something a little different. Charles and Trevor host a limited number of hunters each year. This means you are not just a number. Most hunts are guided one-on-one which allows them to cater to a clients needs.

The camp is modest with all the necessities for the 5 day hunt. The food preparation is more than adequate for a remote camp. They cater to your needs. As for the non hunting hours of your hunt, there are many options in the area. On our trip, we enjoyed camp time which included some intense washer games and sharing hunt stories around a camp fire. There is fishing nearby as well. Camp is also located not far from a little town that has a good restaurant and numerous little shops to explore.

Charles and Trevor as hosts are pleasant and entertaining. They have good knowledge of their area and are true hunters. This is important when selecting a guide service. Some outfitters are strictly in it for the money. Both of these guys really love to hunt and this is demonstrated in how hard they work during your hunt. They work hard to help you be successful.

The most important part of the trip is obviously the hunting.  The stands were hung safely and were comfortable. It was easy to see the baits were active and the bears moved during the daylight which doesn't always happen. I've been on 7 bear hunts and this one offered the most daytime activity. I saw at least 3 bears each sit and I was fortunate to take a nice sow on the third night of the hunt.  I was so happy with my trip I signed myself up for the Spring 2019 hunt.
